Mindfulness Mentoring
Mentoring allows you to receive individualized support for your mindfulness practice. It is very common to encounter various challenges when you're establishing a mindfulness and meditation practice. It's often helpful to have someone to discuss your experiences with. I see my role here as one of offering open, nonjudgmental, fully present listening, normalizing the experience you're having, and if appropriate sharing my own experiences. This practice requires practice! We all need reminders and encouragement to continue practicing--with self-compassion and patience. I also consider it important to offer ideas for new ways to integrate your practice with your daily life.
